The Castaway Hotel: Next Generation Book 3

Chapter 12 - All Clear

Graham showed up just before lunch and I was surprised to see that Andrew and Sammy were with him.  “This is an unexpected surprise,” I said as I greeted them.

“Dad wanted me to come here today so I could make sure everything had gone as planned,” Graham answered, “and these guys didn’t want me to make the trip alone.”

I was relieved that he hadn’t mentioned the words ‘medium’ or ‘spirits’ and hadn’t said Hubbard and Abernathy’s names either.  This was due to the fact that the boys were standing beside me and hearing any of those words or names might have prompted them to start asking questions that I wasn’t prepared to answer.

“Yeah, we thought we could split the driving with him,” Sammy stated, bringing my attention back to the present.

“And we also wanted to see everyone again, especially our newest nephew,” Andrew added.

Tristan’s face lit up when Andrew referenced him, which prompted Tristan to walk over and give his Uncle Andrew a hug.  “Thanks, and I’m glad you’re here too.”

After they took off their coats and got settled in, Brandon mentioned something else.  “We’re just about ready to sit down for lunch, so I hope you’re hungry and that you’ll join us.”

“Yes, it sounds great,” Sammy agreed.

“We’d debated about stopping to chow down before we got here,” Graham added, “but then we thought that maybe we could all eat together.  We were even prepared to take you guys out with us, our treat.”

“And if you’d already eaten, we could have always run out to grab a quick bite or had something delivered,” Andrew continued.  “We also knew Dad would probably offer to fix something for us, so we weren’t worried that we were going to starve.”

“Yes, I certainly would have fixed you something to eat,” Dad agreed as he came out to join us.  “I’m sorry I didn’t come out to greet you sooner, but I was on the phone with a friend who was enquiring about something I’d done earlier in the week.”

Most of us knew what he was referring to, but thankfully his comment passed over the younger boys’ heads and they never inquired about it.

When we were sitting down at the table, Tristan asked Uncle Andrew to sit next to him, so it seemed as if Andrew’s earlier statement had earned him a lifelong friend.  While we ate, Andrew asked Tristan questions about how he liked living with us and how school was going.  Tristan answered all of his questions, and as soon as everyone was full, Andrew and Sammy challenged the boys to play games in the rec room.

I’m not sure if the three of them had discussed this during the ride here, but by keeping the younger boys occupied by competing against them helped to free up Graham.  He was now able to move throughout the house without the boys noticing what he was doing.  None of us went with him as he made his way around all three floors, and we held our breath when he came back to tell us what he’d discovered.

“I didn’t see Hubbard or Abernathy anywhere,” he stated, and hearing this allowed the rest of us to start breathing again.  “I even took into consideration that they might be hiding, but Brent and Cody assured me that they hadn’t seen either of them around after the medium had banished them.”

“So Brent and Cody ARE still here,” Dion muttered to himself, but loud enough so the rest of us overheard his comment.

“Yes, and Elliot’s father and Tristan’s mother are still here as well,” Graham responded.

“Elliot’s father is probably sticking around until Elliot returns to college,” I stated.  “He’ll most likely leave as soon as Elliot does, and he might even find a way to follow Elliot to Yale so he can spend time with him there.  As far as Tristan’s mother is concerned, she’s probably staying here until she’s convinced that her son is adjusting and fitting in with the rest of us.”

“I’m just glad to know that everything went as planned,” Dad added, “and I want to thank you for driving here just to give us some peace of mind.”

“You certainly don’t have to thank me for doing this, especially after everything you’ve done for us,” Graham shot back.

“Maybe not, but I’ll thank you anyway.”

Now that this situation had been cleared up, Graham went back to join Sammy and Andrew as they challenged the younger boys to various games.  As soon as he went to do that, the rest of us moved to the living room so we could discuss the matter further.

“I wonder where Hubbard and Abernathy disappeared to after they left here,” Trey mused.

“They probably went directly to hell.  That’s where they belong,” Pop stated with a twinkle in his eye.

“Or they could be bothering someone else,” Brandon suggested.

“Oh shit.  I hope they haven’t gone to Ian’s house,” Elliot groaned.  “I know they aren’t as connected to him as they are to us, but Ian was indirectly responsible for what happened to them as well, just like I was.”

“I’m surprised you didn’t spend any time with Ian while you were here,” I said, suddenly realizing that he hadn’t gone to see Ian at all.

“That’s because he didn’t come home for Christmas,” Elliot answered with a gloomy expression on his face.  “He’s been doing volunteer work at the Stanford Hospital and wanted to spend Christmas with the kids who had to spend the holiday there.  A couple of the kids are terminal and Ian was afraid they might not make it until he got back.”

“Awww, those poor kids, but it’s really sweet of Ian to do that,” Trey offered.

“Yes, he has a big heart and it makes me wonder how he’s going to handle it when he loses a patient,” Elliot observed.

“Yes, that will probably be very hard on him,” I concurred, “but his staying in California means he won’t be at the house if Hubbard and Abernathy are headed there next.”

“Elliot, maybe you could go visit his parents and take Graham with you,” Dion suggested.  “That way Graham could let you know if Hubbard and Abernathy are there.”

“I could, but Uncle Graham wouldn’t be able to walk around their house like he did here, so he probably couldn’t say for sure if they were there or not.  I’ll just call to wish them a happy new year, but I’ll also ask how things are going.   That way I can see if anything unusual has been happening.”

“I hope they’ll be willing to admit it if they’ve been experiencing some of the same things that happened here,” Dad countered.

“Just to make sure, I’ll call Ian after I talk to his parents, because I know he’ll tell me if they’ve mentioned anything like that.”

“If they aren’t having problems now, you can always let me know if something comes up later, after you’ve returned to school,” Dad added.  “If something does happen later, then I’ll call the medium and arrange for him to cleanse their house as well.”

“Dion and I will also keep our ears open at school to see if we hear anyone talking about strange things happening at their homes,” Trey offered.

“Good idea, because Hubbard and Abernathy could wind up anywhere, seeing we aren’t aware of who else they hated,” Pop agreed.

When Graham, Sammy, Andrew, and the boys finished playing their games, the three uncles joined us in the living room while the boys headed to the family room instead.  The younger group immediately began playing video games while the rest of us chatted, but at some point Benny and Joshie left the other boys and disappeared.  When Tristan finished playing a game against Wyatt, he handed the controller to Ryan next, and then he went to look for Benny and Joshie.

After checking out the rec room and the rest of the downstairs, he thought they might have gone up to their bedroom so he headed there next.  The bedroom door was closed, so he wasn’t sure if they were inside, so he slowly opened the door to see.  They were there, and Tristan was amazed when he saw what they were doing.  They were both totally naked and laying with their heads near the other one’s waist, and they appeared to have the other boy’s penis in their mouths.

“Hey, what are you guys doing?” Tristan asked, and this caused two heads to pop up after they’d pulled off the other one’s boyhood.

‘Uhhh, we were just having some fun,” a red-faced Joshie answered.

“So havin’ each other’s pee-pee in your mouth is fun?  Doesn’t it taste like pee?”  Tristan didn’t appear as if he believed Joshie’s answer.

“Ummm, no it doesn’t taste like pee at all and you’ll understand better when you’re older,” an equally red-faced Benny added.

“But I want to know what it’s like and why you think its fun, so you gotta show me,” Tristan demanded as he started to undress.

“Uhhh, we can’t, ummm, do that,” Benny stammered nervously.

“Why not?” Tristan countered, looking perturbed.

“You’re not old enough yet,” Joshie stated.  “And we’ll have to check with your dads first, to see if it’s alright with them.”

“So our dads know that you guys are doing this?”

“Yes, cuz we had to get their permission before we could do it with each other,” Benny confirmed.

“Then let’s go downstairs and ask them if I can do it with you.”

“We can’t do that now, cuz their visiting with Uncle Sammy, Uncle Andrew, and Uncle Graham,” Joshie stated to deflect his suggestion.  “We’ll have to wait until later, when we can get them alone.”

“But I want to do it now,” Tristan reiterated, which caused Benny and Joshie to frantically look at one another.

“Uhhh, what if one of us does it to you now so you can see what it’s like?” Joshie offered.  “You won’t be able to do it to us yet, and you can’t tell anyone that we did it to you either.  You’ll also have to let me and Benny talk to your dads about it later?”

“So I can’t go with you when you talk to them?”

“No, it will be better if we do it alone,” Benny stated.

Tristan appeared to be considering their counter proposal, and a few seconds later he responded.  “Ok, but you have to ask them tonight.”

“How about tomorrow night?” Joshie shot back.  “They’re going to be busy tonight, cuz our other uncles aren’t leaving ‘til tomorrow.”

Tristan thought about this briefly, and then he gave them his answer.  “Ok, but you have to show me now, cuz I want to see why this is s’posed to be fun.”

“Ok, I’ll do it to you then,” Joshie agreed.  “Since you’re already naked, just lay down on the bed.”

Tristan quickly hopped up on the mattress and laid on his back, and then Joshie moved beside him.  He used his hand to stroke Tristan’s scrotum and immature penis first, since he felt it would be better if Tristan had an erection before he started.  As soon as Tristan’s boyhood was standing at full mast, Joshie lowered his mouth over it and began to run his tongue around the shaft and bulbous head.

“That tickles,” Tristan giggled.

“You’ll get used to it,” Benny responded so Joshie could continue his efforts.

Tristan settled down quickly and then watched as Joshie’s head began to bob up and down on his tiny shaft.  Joshie also began to add suction as his lips started gliding along the throbbing surface and Tristan’s breathing slowly began to change.  Before long he was panting, and a short time after that the muscles in his body stiffened, his eyeballs rolled back in their sockets, and his mouth fell open.  He had just experienced his first dry orgasm.

After Joshie released Tristan’s penis from his mouth, he and Benny watched as Tristan’s breathing slowly returned to normal and he eventually opened his eyes.

“Wow, what was that?” Tristan gasped almost breathlessly.  “You made me tingle all over.”

“That feeling is called an orgasm, and we’ll tell you more about it later,” Benny answered.

“It felt really good and now I know why you guys were doin’ this,” Tristan agreed.

“Yes, and it will feel even better when you get older,” Joshie added.  “Now get dressed and go downstairs so Benny and I can finish doing it to each other, cuz you kinda interrupted us.”

“Oh, yeah.  Sorry about that, but can’t I stay and watch?”

Benny and Joshie looked at each other as they communicated silently, and after a few seconds, Joshie turned to Tristan and spoke.  “If we let you stay you’ll have to keep quiet and not bother us, and you can’t tell anyone else that we let you watch what we were doing.”

“K, I promise.”

Tristan was fascinated as the other pair arranged themselves in a sixty-nine position and started working on each other’s penis.  He was totally enthralled as he watched their penises disappear into the other one’s mouth and then reappear again.  This continued until Benny neared his orgasm, because he suddenly stopped working on Joshie while he enjoyed his release.  As soon as he recovered, he continued working on Joshie again and continued until he had ejaculated as well.

“It was fun watching you guys do that,” Tristan stated when they’d finished and started getting off the bed to put their clothes on again.  “Your bodies stiffened near the end, so was that when you got the tingly feelings like I did?”

“Yes, that’s when it happened,” Benny agreed since Joshie was still lost in his post-orgasmic bliss.

“I can’t wait for you to do it to me again, but I’m not sure if I’ll be able to do it to you.  Your pee-pees are way bigger than mine.”

“You don’t have to do it to us if you don’t want to,” Benny assured him.

“But will you still do it to me if I don’t do it to you?”

“Yes, but we have to get permission from our dads first.”

“But I’m not sure that I want them to know what we’re doin’.”

“It’s up to you, but we won’t be able to do it again unless they say it’s ok,” Joshie confirmed as he joined the discussion.

“Can’t we just do like we did today, cuz I won’t tell anyone?”

“No, and we probably shouldn’t have done it this time either, but we didn’t want you bothering your dads about it today.”

“So do you want us to ask them, or don’t you want to do this again?” Benny pressed.

“I want you to do it to me again, but I feel funny about our dads knowin’ what we’re doing.”

“Well, we can’t do it with you again unless your dads say it’s ok,” Joshie confirmed.  “So you have to make up your mind.”

“Let me think about it and I’ll let you know later.”

“Ok, that will be fine,” Benny agreed, “but you still can’t tell anybody about today.”

“K, I won’t.”

None of us said anything to the trio about where they’d been or what they’d been up to, so they merely headed to the rec room and began playing air hockey.  They did that until we went to let them know what we were going to do for dinner.

“Rather than fixing something to eat here,” I began, “we’ve decided to take everyone to the Outback Steakhouse instead.”

“Do I have to wear a suit?” Tristan immediately asked.

“No, this restaurant isn’t as formal or fancy as the one we went to on New Year’s Eve, so you’re fine the way you’re dressed now.  Just go wash your hands and face first, and then we’ll leave.”  As soon as he heard this, Tristan looked relieved and raced off to do as he was told.  He also appeared eager to see what this restaurant was going to be like.

Once we got to the Outback and were seated, I went over the menu with Tristan to see what he wanted.  He wasn’t familiar with many of the items on it, and although I tried to explain each one to him, he chose to have chicken tenders instead.  Since we wanted him to try other things as well, Brandon and I offered to also let him try what we ordered.  When Andrew overheard this, since Tristan was sitting between the two of us, he quickly talked Sammy and Graham into letting Tristan taste their entrées as well.  Before the night was over Tristan had tasted many new items, some he liked and some he didn’t, but now he had other choices the next time we ate out.

When we returned to the house, the boys challenged Andrew, Sammy, and Graham to play video games against them.  Seeing they couldn’t all play at the same time, Graham was able to stay behind so he could fill the rest of us in about something first.

“I’m not sure about Abernathy, but I now know what happened to Hubbard,” he began.

“Don’t tell me he was at the Outback,” Pop gasped.

“No, but I saw him standing alongside the road just beyond the property line.  I’m willing to bet that he’s trying to find a way to get back in here.”

“I doubt he’ll be able to do that, because the medium had us set up a double barrier,” Dad responded.  “Even if he somehow manages to get by the first one, the other one will keep him out of the house.”

“He’s probably afraid to go into the light because he thinks it will take him directly to hell,” Pop spat out.

“That may be, but I don’t understand why he’s so fixated on us,” I stated.  “We never did anything to him, and whenever something happened between us he was always the one who started it.”

“His hatred is based on what we are and who we love more than anything we’ve done to him,” Dion pointed out.

“And it’s difficult to combat or defuse that type of hatred,” Dad offered.  “The more ignorant the person, the more unyielding and entrenched his bigotry.”

“And rather than enjoying his life he preferred to spend it hating and attacking us,” Brandon added

“And what did it get him?” Trey continued.  “It put him in a wheelchair first and then it led to an early death.”

“And he spread his poison to his nephew too, and now his nephew will spend the rest of his life in prison,” Dion reminded us.  “Hubbard’s obsession and hatred also caused his nephew’s friend to die very young and that fool is still hanging out with the asshole that got him killed.”

“Yes, and I doubt Hubbard’s nephew or Abernathy would have ever attacked Ian or vandalized my car if their minds hadn’t been poisoned by David Hubbard,” Elliot concurred.  “What a waste of three lives.”

Once we finished our discussion, Graham went in to join the other group and take his turn playing video games against the younger boys.  They continued doing that until we sent them upstairs to get ready for bed, because we’d all have to wake up early and get ready to go to church in the morning.

After we’d tuck them in and said goodnight, Brandon and I headed to bed too.  In fact, I believe it was the first time that I’d allowed myself to fall into a deep and totally relaxing sleep since these events had first started, and I woke up the next morning totally refreshed.  I was literally bouncing as I got dressed and headed downstairs to join the others.

“You seem to be in a chipper mood this morning,” Dad observed when he saw me.

“I am, because I slept better last night than I have in weeks.  It feels good to know this nightmare is finally over.”

After we’d all grabbed a little snack to tide us over until the service ended, we headed to church.  Many of our friends were happy to see Graham, Sammy, and Andrew again and chatted with them before Sunday school, while waiting for the church service to begin, and as we were leaving.  I think it made that trio feel good that the others still cared about them, although they found it a little taxing to have to repeat the same things to each person that greeted them.

Once we were able to break away, we drove over to the diner for brunch.  The owner had an area set up for us, since he knew we always came there after church and spent a lot of money, so we got V.I.P. treatment.

When we finished our meals, Graham, Sammy, and Andrew bid us all goodbye before heading home.  We thanked them for joining us for the weekend, along with the unspoken thanks to Graham for allaying our worst fears, but we didn’t verbalize that in front of the boys.

The younger group was just as sad to see them leave, seeing their uncles had spent a great deal of time entertaining and interacting with them while they were here.  To our delight, the boys never noticed that Graham hadn’t spent as much time with them as Sammy and Andrew and were now just as sad to see him leave as well.

When we got back to the house, we spent the rest of the day doing chores and getting ready for Monday.  We also asked the boys to make sure their homework was done and they had everything they’d need for the next day.  Other than being busy, I think we all noticed that the atmosphere in the house seemed to be much lighter and less threatening than the previous weekend.  It was good to know the worst was now over.
