When daylight fails,
The darkest day,
When all the world is ripped away,
And winters frost is in the heart,
Life itself is torn apart.
In that darkness,
Deep despair,
From death shall rise the sacred pair,
Whose lives shall bring the light again,
The darkness nevermore to win.
Two so different,
Yet the same,
Will join and forge a royal claim,
An end be brought to waring hordes,
When rise the mighty Dragon Lords.
Prophecy of the Dragon Lords

This is a poem that I wrote many years ago as the Prologue/Preface for a new Dragon Earl Story, the rest of it will be included in the Revised Dragon Earl Book One.
