Bobby turned Sherpa and headed back towards the pool, thinking he’d wait a bit longer for Monty and then head back towards the house. As he neared the north gate he heard a whistle and saw Monty headed toward him on the Cut riding Pepperpot. Bobby’s spirits lifted. He waved at Monty and waited for him at the gate.
"Sorry to be so late, my Mom insisted that I eat lunch with the family and some of her friends that came out to visit," explained Monty in a rush.
"No problem, I was just helping a rider get back to the stables. You ready for a swim?"
"You bet!" said Monty enthusiastically.
Monty or Johnny Montgomery was a year older than Bobby but they were the same size in most respects. Monty was just a bit further down the puberty curve than Bobby but except for a smattering of fur, you really couldn’t tell by looking at them. His tanned skin complemented his Brown hair and eyes. He wore an outfit very much like Teeny’s which wasn’t lost on Bobby. He had a muscular build but still retained just a bit of baby fat near his belly which gave him a cute little pot. He noticed that Bobby was unusually quiet.
"You okay?" asked Monty as he looked intently at Bobby.
"I’m fine." Said Bobby, I need to talk to you though, but it can wait until we get to the pool.
When they reached the pool Bobby turned Sherpa loose to graze and Monty put Pepperpot on a drag. And they sat down on a boulder to pull off their clothes for a swim.
"So what’s on your mind?"
"I just did something and I don’t know how you’ll take it, but I can’t feel right about it unless I tell you, because I like you a lot."
"It’s okay Bobby, you can just tell me. It can’t be that bad, you just don’t act that way. You’re too freakin’ nice." Monty said as he removed his cut-offs displaying the pale skin beneath them. His penis hung lazily between his legs and the tip of his glans was just visible peeking out from the end of his foreskin. Bobby saw this and his own organ twitched as he removed his Jeans again.
Over the next few minutes, Bobby recounted the events with Teeny as Monty listened in awe. When he had finished the story, Monty reached out his hand and pulled Bobby’s head toward him and kissed him gently and then more intensely on the lips.
"That is so cool Bobby, I wonder if anything like that will ever happen to me."
"You never know," said Bobby, eyeing Monty’s now erect penis "but I think I can do something about that."
Reaching out and grasping Monty’s lovely shaft. His foreskin had retracted as he became erect so the head was now fully exposed. Bobby turned to face Monty and leaned forward slipping his moistened lips over the tip several times before proceeding to slide them down the remainder until his glans was in contact with Bobby’s uvula. Monty moaned quietly and put a hand on Bobby’s cheek, the fingers of his other hand ran through Bobby’s golden hair. Bobby compared the texture of Monty’s most tender skin with Teeny’s. He used the tip of his tongue to probe the corrugations of the hard shaft and then to cleave the underside of the spongy head right up to the opening at the end of the groove. And though they had done this many times over the summer Monty had not developed much stamina.
He began to gasp for breath after a couple of minutes of this attention and soon he was at his peak. He warned Bobby of the impending climax and then put his hands on his own hips. Bobby plunged up and down Monty’s shaft and then sensing the beginning of the boy’s collapse brought his lips to the base, feeling the few sparse hairs tickle his nose as he took in Monty’s wonderful smell and with his tongue flat on the underside of Monty’s penis he could feel the semen coursing out of the organ and straight into his waiting throat. As Monty began to twitch from the post-climax sensitivity Bobby slipped his lips over his teeth and wrung the last few drops of semen out of Monty as he pulled off. He tasted the fluid and savored its’ taste before swallowing. He smiled as Monty was now prostrate on the same boulder where he had had his encounter with Teeny. Bobby rose from his perch and leaned over the supine boy and kissed him deeply and they took two steps back and dove into the pool splashing Monty with cool water. Monty didn’t have the energy to squeal at the onslaught of water that sprayed him. His post-orgasmic high was a bit reluctant to depart and Monty was not in any hurry for it to recede.
When he finally rose and joined Bobby in the pool he planted a long kiss on the boy’s full lips. "I’m going to hate going back to Iowa man, there’s just nobody like you there," said Monty tearfully.
Bobby pulled him into a hug and kissed his cheek, saying; "I know, I know, I’ll miss you too. There’s no one at school like you either."
They continued their lovemaking several times that afternoon, each knowing that the end of summer loomed large. Their time together was finite and they were making the most of it.
Late in the afternoon Monty teased the last few drops of Bobby’s essence from his wilting penis and admired the view from his vantage point. Bobby’s taught abdomen stretched out like a plain before him speckled with goosebumps from the cool late afternoon breeze. He watched as Bobby’s orbs relaxed and drooped back into their normal position. Monty knew that this was just a summer thing, but he really felt something for Bobby. He was pretty sure Bobby felt something for him. He wished they could stay together but there was a farm to help run and school and all the other regular activities that ate up the rest of the year. He hoped they could come back here next year.
Bobby broke his reverie by saying "Wow, I didn’t realize it was getting so late. It’ll be dark by the time I reach the pinch, or at least in shadow. I better ride back your way and take the East trail down to the meadow. Is there a phone at your lodge? I’d like to call the house and let them know I’ll be late."
"Sure," said Monty. "You can call them from there; I suppose we ought to get dressed and get going."
As they rode they discussed their friendship, their favorite TV shows, and several other topics until Monty asked, "Hey I thought Sherpa was really reliable. How come you didn’t want to take him through the pinch?
"Oh he would have been willing, but it’s on the west side of the canyon so it would have been almost dark going through it. It takes both of us to get through safely. There are couple of places I have to get off and walk him through and I wouldn’t be able to see. I just can’t risk it, he’s too good a mount, and I don’t want to fall down that cliff."
"I guess I should have known that you always seem to be thinking about the best way to do stuff."
"Thanks, I think."
As they approached Monty’s family’s rented lodge Monty sighed. "Oh great, they’re still here" noting the blue Chevy at the side of the drive. "I bet that means I sleep on the veranda. At least they didn’t bring their obnoxious kids."
Monty introduced Bobby to his parents and to the friends that had come to visit. Bobby was allowed to use the phone and spoke to his Gramma who praised him for being smart enough to avoid a bad situation. While they were talking he asked if he could invite a guest and his Gramma agreed.
After he hung up the phone he asked Monty’s Mom if Monty could ride back with him and spend the night. She agreed readily since it would save him from being eaten alive by mosquitoes and get him out of their hair, so they could be with grown-ups for an evening. The way she said it gave Bobby the creeps but he didn’t want to speculate on what she meant. Monty, however, was beside himself with joy.
"Let me get my stuff and we’ll get going!" he said.
"I’ll come help," said Bobby anxious to get away from Monty’s parents and their friends.
When all the goodbyes had been said and all the warnings were given, Bobby and Monty set out down the trail to Bobby’s home.
When they reached the stables; Dolly, the lady who ran the stables as a business was waiting.
"Hey, Bobby." She whooped. "Who’s this little cutie?"
"This is Johnny Montgomery but he goes by Monty, turning to Monty he whispered, "Wait for it."
"You mean like Monty Wooley?" Dolly chuckled.
"And there it is" whispered Bobby still facing Monty who grinned in acceptance.
"Yes, Ma’am" said Monty politely.
"Okay Boys, Hop down and I’ll get these horses put away."
"No Ma’am," said, Bobby, as he dismounted, "You go ahead and get your dinner and we’ll see to these two. We walked them the last quarter mile so we’ll put up their tack and pitch them a little flake and some oats."
"Well if you say so." She said. "Oh, be sure and thank your Gramma for letting me know you were running late. You were smart to do that Bobby. You really impress me; I don’t know many boys your age that would have thought it through like that. I mean that." With that, she gave Bobby a little peck on the cheek and ambled off towards her little house near the Barn.
When she was well out of earshot Monty asked Bobby "Who the heck is Monty Wooley?!"
"He was a movie star in the thirties; my Gramma thinks he’s great too. She stays up to watch the late show just to see him and some other old-time actors." When the horses were seen to Bobby said, "C’mon let’s get up to the house and clean up." They headed up the stairs and through the gate between the grounds of the house and the stables. Bobby led them through another gate into the pool area. There, sitting in a deck chair was Bobby’s Grampa enjoying the warm evening air wearing nothing at all.
"And who might this be?" asked Mac.
"Hi Grampa, this is Monty. His parents rented one of the cabins up off the cut. He’s going to stay the night." said Bobby.
"Hello sir," said Monty.
"Most of Bobby’s friends call me either Mac or Grampa, but not, sir. Okay?"
"Cool said Monty; I never had anyone to call Grampa. It would be neat even if it’s just for a little while."
"Why don’t you boys go put your gear away and come out for a swim? The water is great."
Bobby bent down and gave his Grampa a kiss on the cheek and began leading Monty to his room.
When they reached Bobby’s room Monty let out a low whistle. "Jeez man! Your Grampa has a huge dick. I’ve seen my Dad’s dick hard and it’s not as big as your Grampa’s is soft. Does he always lay around naked?"
"No not always, just when he swims, we all swim nude most of the time, except when we have company. And yeah it is big, I ran into him in the hall one night and he was….you know, hard, Man it was really huge then. I couldn’t stop looking at it. It was weird man, I was hard too and it was like a toothpick and a telephone pole."
Both boys laughed and Bobby showed Monty where to put his gear. Bobby began to strip and asked Monty if he was up for a swim.
"Sure," he said. "But where’s your Gramma? I mean is she gonna see me naked too?"
"Probably," said Bobby "but she’s a Doctor and she’s seen anything you might have a thousand times.
"What kind of Doctor?"
"She’s a Pediatrician, relax, it’ll be fine you can wrap up in a towel if you’re shy." Bobby giggled.
"Aw what the heck," said Monty and began to strip as well.
The boys each threw a towel over their shoulder and ambled back out to the pool.
At the pool they found both grandparents sitting in adjacent chairs. Bobby’s Gramma looked up and said, "Hello, you must be Monty, it’s very nice to meet you."
"Yes Ma’am, Nice to meet you too" he said trying not to look at her breasts, which were very nice for a lady her age he thought. He was worried that his little friend might give him away, but the towel was strategically draped to prevent that. He hoped.
"Hi Gramma!" said Bobby as he flung his towel on a deck chair. He walked over to give her a kiss on the cheek. "Same rule holds for her, everyone just calls her Gramma, c’mon, let’s hit the pool."
"Banzai!!" he shrieked and jumped in the deep end with Monty hot on his heels.

As they strolled through the quad area Todd lowered his head and said, "Look, Bobby, I’m sorry about this afternoon…."
Bobby gave him a warm smile "really Todd, it’s okay; you have to find comfort where you can get it. I often wish I had someone I could do things like that with or a place to have a private visit. I’m very sorry for having disturbed you guys."
Todd put his arm around Bobby’s shoulders as they walked and said "Funny I always presumed that when you took boys to your grandparents you guys would get up to mischief. But you’re looking for something more aren’t you?"
"Yes; but we can talk about that some other time, I need to speak to you about Raemer."
"Okay but I have to tell you, I nearly pissed myself trying not to laugh when you handed Win that tissue and told him his nose was running." Todd snickered.
"Was he angry that I interrupted?" asked Bobby
"No, not about that; but he was incensed that you were so bloody noble about it." Todd continued mocking Win’s posh accent.
"I’ll have to remember to be more of a jerk in the future." Bobby quipped.
"So what’s the trouble with Raemer now?" Todd asked seriously. "Well no trouble really, I would like him to come to the museum with us on Thursday. Oh and by the way I spoke to Rigsby, he told me why Raemer is really here."
Todd grinned sheepishly "yeah sorry about not telling you, that was Rigsby’s idea; he was sure you’d figure Raemer out and I was so swamped with everything else. But I noticed you never slacked off helping the youngsters." He continued; "Win is right you are detestably noble, let’s go by the pond and see if you can walk across without wetting your shoes." Todd finished with a snort of laughter.
"Oh I don’t do that anymore, it disturbs the Koi…….asshole!" Bobby jostled Todd with his shoulder knocking him off course. The boys had a good laugh but when they quieted down Todd asked, "Why the museum, do you think Raemer will even notice? Or are you going to introduce him to your lady love?" Todd said with a grin.
"Funny but no; I want him to see the Seurat exhibit. I really think it will reach him on a level that he has never experienced. You see I spend a lot of time with him. Sometimes I get a glimpse of what he sees in the world around him. I’ll bet you haven’t seen a dandelion on the field for ages, and it’s because Raemer has gathered them all. He would collect huge handfuls and blow them into the air just to see the patterns they make. But the thing is he sees them differently than anyone else here.
He said he can see the spatial relationships of a thousand tiny seeds and assigns them numerical values based on position. But that’s where he lost me, he said something about quantum mechanics and how everything we see is numbers. He’s really quite articulate when he’s on his home turf. But the point is he loves that sort of thing, he’ll watch the wind pick up leaves and blow them around for an hour and before the wind dies down he’ll tell you where each leaf will land and its’ orientation when it does. And he’s always right. I just think he’ll really dig Seurat’s work especially the Sunday afternoon piece."
Todd looked puzzled and asked, "what’s special about Seurat?"
Bobby thought a moment and replied," Okay, Seurat used a technique called pointillism. It’s kind of like a T.V. picture, made up of little tiny dots. If you or I look closely all we see are little dots of color but when we draw a wider focus we see people enjoying a park on an island in the Seine. I’m thinking that Raemer may see something he can wrap his head around and bring him into our world just a little."
"I get it" Todd nodded. "No problem, I’ll talk to Mr. Kuhl and see if one of the faculty can ride with the instrument van if the bus is full. But I haven’t seen many signups for the museum trip; I think it will mostly be the chamber group; so there ought to be room."
"Just make sure you check him for oranges before he goes in." Bobby warned, "I would hate to hear a bad report from the security people there and it would upset Rigsby no end."
"I get it, said Todd "but why the secrecy?"
"It’s because a lot of the boys don’t understand him or even try, if they thought he was getting special treatment they might tease him and I don’t think he can absorb that very well. None of the boys bully him but some rag on him about his habits. Usually, I just remind them how they were when they got here and they lay off."
"Wow" gasped Todd, "I just realized he’s become one of your….." Todd paused.
"Ducklings?" Bobby finished his sentence. "Yes I suppose so; Rigsby told me about the duckling thing today. I guess it’s okay; it could be worse.
"Look, Bobby, guys like you never seem to understand the effect they have on other students. You always seem to have a pat on the back for anybody who needs one. Most of the guys here really love you like a brother and the little guys think you hung the moon."
"I don’t know what to say to that."
The boys walked along in silence until Bobby spoke again.
"Say, Todd, What are you doing for the weekend? My Gramps is taking me down to the trestles to surf if you want to come along. Maybe invite Win to come also, there’s plenty of room at the ranch."
"Cool!" Todd said a bit louder than he intended, "Cool, I’d really like that; I mean I’ve never surfed but I’ve always wanted to try it."
"Bitchin’," Bobby said excitedly "He’ll be here Friday around five. I hope he brings the Packard. I don’t want it to look like we’re being arrested. Besides, the Woody is much cooler than that county car."
