The Long Way Home

Chapter Three

I bent my head towards Levi. Slowly our heads came together, gently very gently our lips touched. Just a soft touch, one so soft you could barely feel it. I pulled back and looked into Levi's eyes. He smiled at me and I smiled back.

"I have wanted you to kiss me since the day we meet," he said.

"Me too" I replied. I leaned in and kissed him again. This time I felt his tongue on my lips. I opened my mouth and let him in as I slipped mine in his.

We broke apart and looked into each other's eyes and smiled at each other.

"I love you, Trevor. I have loved you since I meet you. You see I have been wanting to tell you. The reason we moved from our old home is because the other kids found out about me being gay.

They started teasing me, and then the beatings started. I didn't know what to do about them I finally had to come out and tell my mom and dad what was going on. I was afraid you'd hate me." Levi said with tears streaming down his face.

"Levi, I fell in love with you too when I first meet you. My brother and parents already knew I was gay and in love with you. They told me the other night; I want you to know that if anyone EVER tries to hurt you they will have to go through me first. I love you, Levi, now and forever." I said that with tears falling down my face as well.

Levi smiled at me and kissed me once again. We cuddled up together and drifted off.

When we awoke there was a blanket on us and the television was on. I was startled at first and was scared because the only people who would have done that would have been Levi's parents. I was shaking a little when he woke up.

"What's wrong?" he asked me pulling me into a hug.

"Your parents put the blanket on us and turned off the TV. Won't they be made?" I asked. He just smiled at me.

"No remember they already know about me, and now you. They'll be cool ok." I looked at him and smiled.

"Ok your right sorry. I love you Levi," I said. He smiled at me and kissed me.

"Come on lets go up stairs to bed."

We got up used the bathroom (separately) then went into his bedroom closing the door behind us. There was only one bed, without thinking we both stripped to our underwear and crawled into the bed. I cuddled up behind him and held him close to me. He smiled, sighed and drifted off to sleep. I followed just a few moments later.

The next morning we were woken up by a knock on the door.

"Wake up boys breakfast is ready," said Mr. Michaels.

"Ok, dad we're up." Levi said. We looked at each other and smiled, then kissed. We got up used the bathroom, got dressed and headed downstairs.

We got to the kitchen and sat next to each other. Mrs. Michaels was putting food on the table. Bacon, eggs, toast, grits, and jam.

"So how did you boys sleep?" Mr. Michaels asked. I blushed and looked down. Levi took my hand. Mr. Michaels saw this and smiled.

"Trevor, you have nothing to worry about. I am sure Levi told you he that he's gay. We have no problems with that. As long as ya'll are safe and careful. I hope you will be comfortable here enough that if you two want to hold hands, or kiss or cuddle you can. Ok?" he said. I nodded my head. "Good I am assuming your parents know about you?" he asked.

"Yes, sir they do. They told me they knew about me the other day, after I cried they explained that they didn't care I was gay and they were only waiting for me to tell them, but after I meet Levi they could tell I felt something for him and they thought it would be better to go ahead and bring it out into the open. I'm glad they did now." I said smiling at Levi. He smiled back at me and put his head on my shoulder. I put my arm around him and hugged him. Mr. Michaels laughed.

"Good, very good. Now let's eat."

After we ate we went over to my house and hung out for a while before we went to the park.

Roger came home and saw my arm around Levi and smiled.

"So you two finally found out you belong together I see. Congratulations." He said. We smiled at him and he went on upstairs to his room.

My parents came home a short while later just smiled at us and walked into the kitchen. We left and went to the park walked around and relax. We saw some of my friends and hung out for a while. We had a great time.

When we got back to my house my parents told us to go and get cleaned up that we were all going out, Levi included his parents already approved.

We went and washed up and left. We drove around the block to Levi's house. We got out and were met at the door by Levi's parents.

"Glad you could make it. Come on in." Mr. Michaels let us in and smiled as Levi and I walked in holding hands. "Well dinner is almost ready let's go into the dining room." He said.

We walked in and saw candles lit and the sitting places had fine china laid out.

"Why the fine china dad?" asked Levi. His dad just smiled.

"Well, I figured that this is a good way to meet my boy's boyfriend's parents and family and get to know each other." He said smiling. Levi blushed and looked at me and I blushed as well. Levi and I were sat next to each other with Roger next to me and my mom and Mrs. Michael across from us and our dads at the two heads of the table.

Lasagna with macaroni, rolls, peas and pecan pie was our dinner.

After dinner, the adults all talked and Roger, Levi and I all went and watched TV. They had Star Wars II, an excellent movie.

We left about 11 and this time Levi stayed with us that night.

When we got home mom and dad went to bed and Roger went out with a few friends and that left Levi and I to our own devices. We cuddled on my bed for a while and then fell asleep with me holding Levi close to me. Afraid that it may be a dream, I knew when I woke up that is wasn't a dream he was still there in my arms.

I looked up and saw his eyes looking back at me with a smile.

"Morning," he said.

"Morning. How long have you been awake?" I asked. He just smiled. So I started tickling him to get the answer.

"Hehehehe ok ok I'll tell ya." I stopped tickling him and looked at him waiting. He smiled at me. "I've only been awake for about an hour. I didn't want to wake you. You look so beautiful. I love you, Trevor." He said with a smile on his face and tears glistening in his eyes. I smiled at him.

"And I love you too Levi." I bent down and kissed him fully on the lips.

We got up and went down for breakfast. We ate then once again headed to the park.

All-day long we stayed together. When we had the chance we would steal a kiss and hold hands. I fell in love with him all day long. That night when we parted I walked him to his door.

"I had a great time today Trevor, thanks." He said. I just smiled back.

"Your welcome, I too had a great time. I love you, Levi." I told him. He smiled.

"And I love you."

He bent his head forward and we once again shared a great kiss. I said goodbye and waited till he got inside to walk home.

I love Levi Michaels and I can't wait to see what happens when school starts.

A few months later school did start and that is a very interesting story there.
